Leaf Removal

 

Lawn Boys provides leaf removal in Grand Rapids in the form of both spring cleanups and fall cleanups.

Fall clean ups and leaf removal are offered starting around November 1st or when you call to have them removed! It is important to remove the bulk of your leaves off your lawn before the snow because it prevents snow mold and keeps your lawn healthy. Decomposing leaves produce mycelium, spores, or specialized reproductive structures that will ruin your lawn and will also mat the lawn down which kills it. Included in a fall cleanup is the following:

Blowing out leaves from flower beds, gardens, and bushes Mulching and bagging of leaves, and sticks. Disposal of yard material Final mowing of your lawn

Michigan winters come fast which does not always allow all the leaves to be cleaned up in the fall. That is why we also offer spring cleanups as well. We start spring cleanups whenever all the snow is completely melted off your lawn. Normally this is by April 1st.

 

Fall Cleanup Pricing

 

All yards are different so we will provide you with a personalized estimate after we come and look at your lawn. Pricing is based on the following:

1. Square Footage of lawn and landscape where cleanup needs to be completed

2.The amount of leaves that have fallen/or will fall

3.Obstacles to work around Difficult Terrain such as steep hills will be priced higher.
